Well i was supposed to come in last night for cervidil but there were no beds available at the hospital. We gave up around midnight and went to bed. Well I woke up at 540 when my water broke. So guess i got one of those coveted beds anyway! We’ve been at the hospital since about 715 with Alicia. Unfortunately, I was still only 1 cm dilated and we waited until about 11 to see if contractions would start on their own. It didn’t happen. So now I’m on pitocin. We’ve had a little excitement thus far with a tornado warning that made Alicia and Kyle go the hallway and left me all by myself. They even taped blankets over the window. So now I’m sitting on my birth ball rolling my way through and… updating my blog. I know, I’m an internet addict. Here is hoping that at next check we’ve seen some progression. Julie is the midwife on call today which really makes my day and I like the doctor who is here if I do have to have a c-section. Here is hoping that everything goes smoothly!
